The 5th APCEA Business Presentation Contest begins

The 5th APCEA Business Presentation Contest, organized by the Asia-Pacific Communication Exchange Association (APCEA), will be held this weekend (March 21-22) at Hengqin Campus of the University of Macauafter months of preparation. Corresponding to the 15th anniversary of Macao’s handover, the competition this year is themed with Macao@15, aiming to take this opportunity to solicit ideas on how to make Macao a more diversified in its economy and a top-ranking tourist destination.
The contest this year received positive response among colleges and universities in Macao and its surrounding areas. The Zhuhai Division of Contest was set first time this year where a division contest was held successfully on March 14 in the Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai (BITZ). Seven teams which represent seven universities in Zhuhai including BITZ, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai and Jilin University Zhuhai competed vigorously. Two winning teams were finally selected which will come toMacao for the semi-final on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
APCEA built up media partnership with a wide range of media this year including China Daily Hong Kong Edition, Zhuhai Television, People’s Daily Overseas Edition, Phoenix Net and Shenzhen Press Group etc. Teledifusão de Macao (TDM) will cover the contest. The contest also received strong support from Macao Foundation, Tertiary Education Service Office and the University of Macau.
APCEA Business Presentation Contest, initiated in Macao in 2010, has been enjoying a good reputation among Macao and its surrounding areas in virtue of its high English level and professional practicality. It has become an essential brand activity for Macao.
APCEA, the organizer of the contest, is a non-profit organization registered in Macao. Using Macao as a platform, APCEA aims to support scholars in the communication and media field and promote academic exchange activities, accelerating the development of Communication in the Asian-Pacific Region and attracting more academic activities to Macao regarding the field of communication, education, English and Business Communication.
